Where’s MonkeyMe? Day 8

13263942_10209514786887905_6463748829985017234_nMonkeyMe and his friends left Cody, WY and headed to Chief Joseph Highway.  I’ve heard that it is a wonderful road to ride.  They wanted to ride Bear Tooth Pass as well, but it was closed due to snow.  So they headed to Yellowstone.  They rode through Yellowstone and Grand Tetons down to Jackson Hole where they rented a cabin for the night.

They were very glad to be in the cabin after a long day of cold, wind, rain, sleet & hail.  Also, some snow here and there.  (you can see snow on this car) 13237713_10209514787327916_4827275977258055725_n

It was pretty much a miserable day to be on a motorcycle.  But, they made it safely and that is all that matters.

Hopefully, the weather will improve for the rest of their adventure.  Stayed tuned to see what’s next.

Where’s MonkeyMe? Day 5

IMG_1060Another beautiful day of site seeing in South Dakota!

MonkeyMe and friends visited the Crazy Horse Monument.  Of course, it isn’t completed yet, so the next time they go there, perhaps it will look a little different.  Never-the-less, it is interesting to see the progress of the work.  IMG_1059

From there they went to Custer State Park.  They rode all thru it and saw some buffalo.  MonkeyMe was very excited about that because he had never seen buffalo before.  It is always fun to experience new things.  IMG_1088

After leaving Custer Park, they went to see Mount Rushmore.  It must have been a long walk, so MonkeyMe hitched a ride.  Either that, or someone just has a Monkey on his back.

IMG_1090They made it to the Monument for a photo op.

IMG_1101After all the touring they stayed the night in Keystone, SD.  I can’t wait to hear what they do and where they go next!

Where’s MonkeyMe?

MMmotorcycleThis morning MonkeyMe set out on an exciting adventure.  He is traveling from Savannah, Georgia across the United States via motorcycle.  That’s right…a motorcycle!  But don’t worry….he has his helmet on.  After all, safety first!

He was extremely excited to be going on this trip.  Where will he go?  What will he do?  He will tell us all about it along the way.  Maybe he will be in your town.  Keep an eye out for him.  If you spot him, snap a picture and send it to:  pictures@monkeyme.com and tell us where you are.  For now, we will be waiting anxiously for him to tell us where he is and what he is doing.

Safe travels, MonkeyMe!

Veteran’s Day 2014

Veterans Day 2014

Veterans Day 2014

Today we honor all of the men and women who have served or are still serving in our Armed Forces.  For without them, none of us would be free.  As you go about your busy lives today (and every day), take time to thank those you may come into contact with for their service and remember those who paid the ultimate price.

Hug a Veteran today.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

logo_marchAs March 17th gets closer, I’m seeing green everywhere.  Even MonkeyME has his green on!  You may see more in some areas than in others.  But in Savannah, GA, pretty much the entire city turns green this time of year.  With the 17th falling on Monday this year, there will be a long weekend of celebrations.  I hope that you will all be careful and safe out there.  Always remember the most important things are:
